Skeletal

Surface quality and a higher level of detail.

Special attention is given to the production of skeletal structures through additive (3D) printing using
laser melting technology, which has regained popularity due to its cost-effectiveness and the multiple possibilities offered by new production and digital technologies.
Among the most recent additive technologies initially used for the prototyping of skeletal structures were those that still use calcinable resins subsequently fused using traditional techniques.
The advent of production using laser melting technology has been a true transformation in manufacturing methods, mainly due to its extreme efficiency and precision in reproducing the complexity of geometries and thus capturing all the details.
The realization of the skeletal structure begins with the scanning of the gypsum model or intraoral scanning. Through specialized software, the modeling process determines all the elements such as:
palatal arches, hooks and supports, saddles and retainers. Once our STL is created, we proceed with the printing of the model, where the operator’s experience, the quality of certified powders, and the reliability of our production protocols give life to our product with the same mechanical characteristics and surface quality as traditional techniques:
• Reduced production times and costs
• Extremely high surface quality
• Extreme fidelity of geometries with dedicated machining to preserve critical areas
• High mechanical performance
