Orthodontics

Highest precision, reliability, and patient comfort.

With the evolution of technology, multiple possibilities have opened up to improve prosthetic-orthodontic devices. Many things that were once handcrafted, albeit skillfully, can now be designed and transferred for production through digital means, such as prototyping and laser melting, using specialized CAD software.
The latter technology allows us to obtain steel components, such as orthodontic bands, brackets, and much more, with an extremely high level of precision, customized to the anatomy of the patient’s mouth. Another decidedly positive aspect is the ability to weld these components with a laser without the risk of burns and weakening of the structure, as they can be made with desired thicknesses.

Orthodontic bands are designed on the clinical crown, without going below the gingival margin or between contact points. This allows the professional to avoid using elastic separators before fixation in the oral cavity, making the process completely painless for the patient.

Orthodontic metal prototype brackets, designed using professional CAD software, are extremely useful in orthodontics, both as fixation elements for mechanical means such as rapid expansion screws and as support for anchoring elements useful for tooth movement, such as in the case of impacted canines.
They are also very useful as retainers after significant dental movements.
Surgical splints, both for dental and bone anchorage, represent the pinnacle of such supports.
